Hand Made Walking Sticks
I've recently started making walking sticks as a "down-time" hobby. Made by hand from several local woods,and embelished with various themes, each as as individual as the buyer. These range from $30-$50,depending on the added materials and handle treatment.
Plesae understand that the market in exotic hardwoods and horns is ever flucuating and volatile. For example, Desert Ironwood, a very popular material, has been cut to near extinction. The price has tripled in the last 3 years. The supply of Sambar Stag, one of the most sought after handles, is at the mercy of the government of India, where 85% of it originates, The price of Sambar Stag doubled within 1 year of India's closing of the export trade in legal Stag. Mammoth Tooth, an actual 16,000 year old fossil, is climing in cost as finds are dwindling I ask that you bare with me as I attempt to navigate these suppliers to find you the best value and quality.
